Speaking

I offer a wide variety of educational talks about a wide variety of topic within sustainable agriculture. Including mushroom ecology, mushroom cultivation, setting up community agriculture projects, food policy and sustainable farming practises.

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and understanding of  a wide variety of topics around food and sustainability.

Some of my previous talks and topics I have covered include:

  • The Magical World of Mushrooms – An inspiring lokk at the amazing kingdom of fungi and how they are being used to help combat climate change.
  • Designing and building low-tech outdoor mushroom growing solutions.
  • How to Build Community Micro Dairies in Cities – How a group of food activists set up an urban community run goat micro dairy in Bristol. This talk looks at what it takes to keep animals sustainably and giving you the understanding to be able to set similar projects up in your neigbourhood.
  • Is sustainable meat possible? – Can we have sustainable meat?  Delve into the nuainces around land, food and farming.
  • Postveganism – Moving beyond diet identities – Bringing sustainable farming practice to the table, let’s discuss the importance of sustainable food systems and food security worldwide. Healing the division caused by diet identities and aligning on the wider issues is vital if we are to survive Food Armageddon.
